Take the Dwarf through Moria (SHIELD)

Greetings, Kinnies! 

 

During a recent "Take the Hobbits to Isengard" run, Sapience announced the next Turbine event.  It will be "Take the Dwarf through Moria".  The run will be from the Hollin Gate to the Gate of Caras Galadhon.  You will need to be at least Level 50, and be able to enter Moria in order to participate.  It is recommended that you already have your LIs and know how to use them.

P.S.  All runs are livestreamed, so if you cannot be there, you can watch it live.  The devs, who may or may not be playing, will be watching and chatting.  Players are welcome to ask questions at this time.  The devs will answer what they can.  The first link, above, has information and the link to this.

UPDATE:

 

Greetings, Kinnies!

 

     This is an Update to the SHIELD Run. 

     Since Sapience is leaving LotRO (tomorrow, Friday, August 1,2014, is his last day) for the Children's Miracle Network, the scheduled runs for SHIELD have been moved up.  Landroval has been moved from Tuesday, September 30 at 5pm to Thursday, September 11 at 6pm.  

     We are still the last server to run, so there is a possibility that we could beat all the other servers' time and win.  That would be nice.  The prize is the same for SHIELD as it was for Take the Hobbit to Isengard.  Eldar Server won that contests, and their prize was the festival of their choice for one week. Whoever wins SHIELD gets that same prize.

     UPDATE, September 18, 2014:  

      My apologies for the lateness of this update.  The Final Standings have been posted on the Twitch page, so follow the Twitch link above.  For some reason, Frelorn has not updated the final standings in the LotRO Post.   We came in 16th of 29 servers.
